Welcome to the William Alwyn site

William Alwyn (1905 - 1985) was one of our finest composers with a wealth of repertoire from orchestral to film scores, ensemble to choral.

The site allows you to explore his world and find out more about the man, his music and some of his other talents such as his love of painting.

To find out more about the William Alywn festival in Suffolk and where you can listen to his music please use the links at the top or bottom of this site.
